Cancellation of classes
In the event of an approaching typhoon, if the Taipei City
Government announces that government offices in the Taipei
area will be closed at a certain time, the LTTC-LI will also be
closed. In the case of a further announcement by the City
Government that overrides the earlier announcement regarding
the closing of government offices, the LTTC-LI may or may not be
open for classes. In the event of such a circumstance, please
contact the LTTC-LI at 3322-1100 for an
English translation.
Make-up
classes
In the case that there has been a typhoon and that LTTC-LI
classes have been canceled for part of a day or for one full
day, those classes will not be made up. However,
any and all classes canceled due to natural disasters will
have to be made up if the teachers or students so request. If in one term, after
LTTC-LI classes have already been canceled for part of a day or
one full day, and classes are again canceled due to a
typhoon, the additional canceled classes will be made up.
Arrangements for make-up classes will be announced.
